De Werkschuur Zen Spirit is a social enterprise led by Annetje Jikai Brunner Sensei. She offers zen meditation practice guidance, silent zen retreats, and retreats that combine zen silent meditation with guided compassion meditation practices in The Netherlands and abroad.We host daily online zazen, weekly in-person zen meditation gatherings and online zen practice evenings both in Dutch as well as in English.Furthermore we specialize in teaching self-compassion practices and mindfulness-based stress reduction. Our practice is Socially Engaged Zen Buddhism, and we organize monthly Silent Action sit-ins for the earth and her inhabitants, for peace in a healthy climate.
