Hola! I’m Claudia—most call me Clau. Originally from Peru, I discovered salsa during my university years in the U.S. and instantly fell in love. My passion for movement, travel, and human connection has taken me across the globe—from the Middle East to Europe—and I’m always amazed by salsa’s power to connect people, anywhere. Craving intention, community, and ocean air, I left the corporate world and followed my heart to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Here, I created Salsa, Surf & Sail for adventurous souls seeking real connection, untamed beauty, and off-the-beaten-path experiences.
