Carol Kroegel

She is an experienced fashion designer, pattern maker, and educator with a lifelong dedication to the craft of garment design.With a Bachelor’s degree in Clothing and Textiles with a concentration in Fashion Design, she brings both academic training and extensive real-world industry experience to her work.Her professional background spans all phases of the fashion industry, including five years as a pattern maker for Jones of New York, as well as roles in design and technical development.She has also held leadership positions in fashion education, including serving as Program Director at Bauder Fashion College and teaching at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.With over two decades of teaching experience at both the high school and college level, Carol is known for her ability to guide students through the full design process from concept and illustration to draping, pattern making, and construction.As a Florida Certified Professional Teacher, she combines technical precision with a supportive, hands-on teaching style.In addition to her work in education, she has developed her own swimwear line and continues to teach and mentor aspiring designers through her studio in Sebastian, Florida.Her approach is rooted in helping students build confidence, refine their skills, and bring their creative vision to life.
