An Swinnen is the Managing Director of BECS, an award-winning training company specializing in mental health talks, courses, and the Mental Health Retreat. An is also the author of "Brain-Based Stress Management" and "The Mental Health Survival Guide (Because It's A Jungle Out There)". An has a degree in education and has worked in primary, secondary, higher, and special needs education. An also has a clinical solution-focused psychotherapy diploma. In 2011 An was awarded the British Business Forum Excellence Award by Baroness Emma Nicholson of Winterbourne at the British Embassy in Kuwait. In 2013 An received the Venus Networker of the Year in Devon Award in the UK and in 2015 An was in the final of the UK Trainer of the Year Award in London.
