Alison Francis

Alison is a Trustee of the Yoga for Health and Education Trust in the U.K.She holds the passionate belief that yoga is for everyone.From a background as a dance teacher she trained in 2000 at the Yoga for Health Foundation which sadly no longer exists in general teaching and accessible teaching. Alison also completed a module in Ayurveda.Now in her 70s and still practising she advocates how yoga can help everyone at all stages of their life. Yoga is not just physical postures but includes Pranayama ( breathing practices), Nidra ( relaxation), Meditation, Visualisation.It invites us to be “in the present moment”. Yoga presents us with this fantastic tool box and as a qualified teacher I can help you explore the tools to sift out and utilise what is going to be helpful at any stage in your life..Let’s explore together…..
