Our sculpting retreat offers a hands-on workshop experience lasting six days and five nights, where you'll have the chance to create a stunning 18-inch high nude figure from life. Working alongside a live model, participants will benefit from 30 hours of observation, guided instruction, and individual critiques. This retreat is designed for all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned artists—who are eager to deepen their understanding of sculpting through a structured, yet flexible approach.

💰 Prices & Dates

The retreat is priced at US$2,252 per person for a private room at the La Veta Inn. This price includes accommodation and meals as outlined.

The retreat is organized by Maria Battista, a passionate sculptor with over 25 years of experience. Maria is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and has studied at renowned institutions, including Rutgers University and University of Kansas, as well as gaining international experience in Italy. As the owner of First Circle Studios, Maria has exhibited widely and won numerous awards for her sculptures. She combines traditional sculpting techniques with contemporary themes, inviting participants to engage with the wonder of creation.
